The idea for the Lost Cocktails website came while researching another project. I was serendipitously finding cocktail guides and resources on bartending from the 1800s to the early 1900s in the pre-prohibition era. There were all these amazing and sometimes curious cocktail and beverage recipes that seemed too interesting to keep to myself. In that “spirit,” I’m sharing my findings with you and hope that you enjoy.
